At The Retreat Luxury Garden Villa on the beautiful Huka Falls Road in New Zealand, we have a range of facilities and services to help make your stay unforgettable:

• Drop off to any of Taupo's many restaurants for evening dining, available on request

• Exclusive use of the romantic spa pool, with night lighting, bathrobes, slippers and spa towels provided

• Koha Spa Aotearoa toiletries, each with a unique New Zealand ingredient representative of a uniquely New Zealand location

• 49 inch Smart TV with Sky and Netflix, and unlimited Wi-Fi

•Outdoor café table and chairs

Terms and Conditions

The Retreat Luxury Garden Villa offers boutique, independent accommodation for discerning travellers. As we wish to make your stay as perfect as possible, we will try to accommodate your individual needs if we can. 

Check In - Guests may check in from 3 pm until 9 pm. Let us know in advance if you would like to request a different check in time due to travel arrangements.

Check out - Guests must check out by 12.00 pm. A later check out may be available on request on the day of departure and is dependent on other bookings.

Guests will take all reasonable care of the villa and its contents, and are responsible should any damage or loss occur.

The villa is not suitable for children. All guests must be aged 18 or over. 

No pets are allowed on the property or inside the villa.

Smoking is not permitted inside the villa. Guests may smoke in some of the outside open air areas. 

There is allocated parking for guests on site. 

Deposit, Payment and Cancellation Information

Payment Policy

Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include 15% GST (NZ Goods and Service Tax).

Room rate options and inclusions are detailed on the website.

A deposit equal to the full booking amount is required.

The deposit will be refunded according to the cancellation policy.

Payments are accepted by credit card. If you wish to pay by Internet banking, please contact us directly for the details.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances can change and may require dates to be altered or a booking cancelled. Whilst we will do our utmost to accommodate changes to bookings, as we are a small accommodation provider we are restricted by other bookings, and changes can impact on us significantly, particularly if at relatively short notice. Therefore, the following applies to all bookings cancelled:

Guests may cancel free of charge until 30 days before arrival.

Guests will be charged the total price if they cancel in the 30 days before arrival. 

In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) no refund will be given.
